Leeftijdsvraagstuk - Age questions

 Een oudere vrouw komt op het spreekuur met een 2 jarig jongetje. Ik vraag of zij misschien de grootmoeder is. ‘Nee’ zegt ze, ik ben de moeder en ik ben 28 jaar. ‘Nou’, zeg ik, ‘dan ben ik 12 jaar’. ‘Ja’ zegt moeder vervolgens, dat klopt. Sprakeloos.....

An older woman comes to the clinic with a 2 year OLS boy. I ask if she is the grandmother. ‘No’ she says, ‘I am the mother and 28 years old’. ‘That means I’m 12 years old’ I said. ‘Yes’ she replies, ’that’s right’. Speechless.....
